Assistant Nurse for Psychiatric Emergency Reception

We are currently seeking an assistant nurse for our Psychiatric Emergency Reception at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry, NSP.
We are located in the S:t Göran hospital area and are the only psychiatric emergency reception in Stockholm County.
Our mission is to provide highly specialized psychiatric care for the entire Stockholm County. We are responsible for acute care at all times of the day. The reception has approximately 21,500 visits per year.
Job Responsibilities
As an assistant nurse at the psychiatric emergency reception, you will work with assessments, patient conversations, contact with relatives, and documentation in TakeCare. The work also includes collaboration with relevant professional categories in the department as well as with care neighbors and other stakeholders such as police, correctional services, and care institutions.
Work in psychiatry is continuously evolving, and NSP constantly strives for modern and innovative working methods. Therefore, participation in the departments' quality and development work is a given for our employees.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse with certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have experience and interest in psychiatric care. You have good knowledge and experience of independently documenting in TakeCare.
To be suitable for the position, you must be flexible with a good ability to collaborate, prioritize, and document. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
Permanent employment, full-time. Working hours day/evening/weekend according to a rotating schedule. As an assistant nurse at the psychiatric emergency reception, you will work every other weekend and approximately 50% evening shifts.

- background checks will be applied before the hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
